Minutes of the June 3, 2009 Meeting

The minutes of the June 3, 2009 meeting are as follows:

Members present: Sharon Palmeri, George Miga, Katherine Flotz

Guests: None

Announcements: Due to the meager attendance at the meeting, it is questionable if summer meetings are necessary. You will be advised further.

George Miga talked about a possible screen play for his book and asked for advice as to how to go about it. He continues to look for an agent.

Kathy Flotz had a successful speaking engagement in Lake Summerset, Illinois at a book club. Attendance was well over 50 people.

Readings:

Katherine Flotz read a diamonte poem she wrote for her grandson's Bar Mitzvah. The poem was made into a bookmark with a picture of the Torah.

George Miga continued reading his novel "Medal of Dishonor". The story continues with conversation between McCall, the boss, and Tony, the shoe shine man's son.

The meeting adjourned 7:45 P.M.
